Granite questions, answered
Does granite need to be sealed?
Yes — and we do it for you. Every Life of Stone granite install includes professional sealing with a 15-year warranty on the application. After that, resealing takes 15 minutes once a year.
Can I put hot pans on granite?
Yes. Granite is formed by heat and handles hot cookware better than any engineered surface.
Granite vs. quartz — which is better?
Granite wins on heat resistance and natural uniqueness; quartz wins on zero maintenance and color consistency. Our team will show you both side-by-side at the shop.
